I got bored at work today....drew my truck with the bumper that I want...

I'll probably wind up doing it myself, since I don't have $800 to cough up for a bumper from RLC. Might have to borrow a welder from somebody *cough*DAVE*cough* since Daddy got rid of his when he got is pacemaker.

I have a bender too :)

Hey Dave, see if there are any available houses on your street, I may move up there. Lol, JK. I would like to see how the bumper turns out but Nismo is right, too cold unless you got a heated garage too Dave.

Usually, I'm in the fire truck when I pull up to an accident...but yeah. I travel a lot, and how awesome would it be to have a Trail Medic? I still want to hit up the FAST Team with my county's sheriff's department.

Resonator delete completed. Can't really hear a difference. Although, I did find a self-tapping screw in my left front tire...gonna have to get that one patched from the inside on Monday.

Not sure...mine had a little throaty-ness to it anyway, being standard trans and all...I haven't run it down the interstate yet, though...and the 2 times I drove it since I did it, Grandmother has been with me, so I haven't really gunned it yet.

Looky what I got for Christmas!!!

Small update regarding the resonator delete- yes, there is a bit of a throatier sound to it. It also seems to respond in the pedal a lot faster than previously.

Also found out today that the screw in my tire is too close to the sidewall to try to repair, so I'll be shopping around for tires once my tax refund comes in (hopefully Feb).

Found a set of black 8s on CG, hope to be picking those up soon as well.

On order, I have the harnesses and plugs for my new head unit, as well as a set of NGK wires and plugs. Should be a busy weekend for me. I'm also going to try to re-paint my headlight bezels from where they didn't cure right (thanks DupliColor!) when we painted them the first time.

Nice man! Surprisingly you sound like your in the same boat. Just did a wire plug cap tune up. Looking for new wheels and picking up tires next year.

Windshield is being re-sealed (or replaced) tomorrow morning. I got in my truck Wednesday morning (after a HARD rain the previous night) and sat down on a VERY wet seat. Temps have been too cold for the repair company to come to me, and I haven't had time to take it to them.

Either way, my leaky windshield (that didn't leak until it got cold) will be fixed tomorrow. Now to get that paint issue fixed..I'm thinking bed liner.

Had mine replaced and he pointed out when it was replaced before they didn't seal it correctly, now I've got a little rust at the edge. Hopefully it won't cause issues in the future

Backstory on the windshield:

Previous owner had it replaced, but whoever replaced it didn't get a good seal across the top, which caused ROAD SALT and water to get up under the paint. My re-sealing adventure was a success, but they wouldn't even warranty the work because it looks so bad up there.

Ricel, I'd get it resealed ASAP before it starts to bubble like mine. I have to get mine to my body guy as soon as I can find another vehicle to borrow for a week.

On an unrelated note, I've picked out my 15x8s to go with the new rubber..

wrapped up in 31x10.50..

Mastercraft_courser_MT.jpg

Since I've decided on the MTs, I'm just gonna keep the size at 31x10.50 for now. I can't afford gas back and forth to school if I go any bigger than that, and I don't really wheel that much. Maybe one day I'll graduate to big girl tires, but that will be after I hit the lotto.

You will be happy with 31's they fit nicely and give a good look over stock size. But just a warning your mpg's will drop with steel wheels

I'm hoping it won't be much of a difference going from a 16" alloy to a 15" steelie, but I have a feeling it's just hopes and dreams. I'm gonna wait until May to put everything on, that way I'm getting the max mpgs I can while going to Spring Hill twice a week.

honestly as soon as my duratracs are done im going back to an alloy wheel... I was very dissapointed with how much heavier they were, I and the thing to think of is they sure they maybe only 5 pounds heavier but that takes alot more power to get them rolling. Plus puts more stress on eveything,

Just food for though,

Do you not like the stock wheel?

Not really. I'd love to have a set like what Dave had on Turk, but charcoal.

I thought you had steelies this whole time. Hmm. Learn something new every day!

I did have steel wheels at one time, cause I had bought MT's to put on stock wheels and so I bought some steel wagon wheels to fit the 16" tires I had. So you may have seen an older picture with them somewheres.
