Look what I just came home with...

Just gotta buy one more can of Krylon. I wiped O'Reilly out of the satin, so I'll have to go Sunday on my way to DRB's casa (mad props to Dave for helping me out).

If you are going to buy two seats and can't find the ones that match, ask the pull-a-part yard if they want to trade all four seats plus some cash from you. Problem solved and all four seats match and the yard gets more junk to sell to the next guy.

HUGE THANK YOU to Dave (drbandkgb) for his much-needed help today, but look what we did!!!

Dave working while I observe...there's a reason I didn't paint!

Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight. I stopped by my parents' house on my way home and Dave did such a great job that my dad thought I had a body shop do it!

I won't have all of the plastics painted by Xs for Xmas, but at least the grill and headlight bezels are done. I'm not putting the brush guard back on there, but once I get the brackets off, I'll be putting it up for sale.

Again, a big THANK YOU goes out to Dave B for pretty much doing this for me..I helped with the removal, but I can't paint.

It's amazing what some time and a few cans of paint will do. By the way, are the headlight bezels hard to remove? I'm going to be blacking out my grill soon.

The headlight bezels are easy, so is the grille. For the headlights it's just 2 screws and a couple of tabs. (two I think) and for the grille you just need a flathead screwdriver. You simply turn the plastic squares until they line up with the square on the grille. But they aren't screws so don't keep turning them. 1/8 of a turn is all you need. It was actually more of a pain putting the clips back on the grille than taking them off.

Thanks. I took the grill out to paint it gray last year, I just didn't do the rest for some reason. I remember calling the clips a few bad names putting them back in but it wasn't bad. Now if I can just get home before dark on a day when it's not raining I'll have it made.

Dave and I would have done a write-up, but we were REALLY pressed for time. I have to sand and re-paint the bezels again, so if I can get to it before you, I will do a write-up on it. :)

Mastercraft is a VERY strong tire. I put 40,000 on a set of ATs on my Hardbody, including some pretty regular offroading..I love em.

Now I gotta find some of the Frontier 15s like what Dave used to have on Turk (but the smoked color, not the bright silver).

32x11x15...they don't make a 11.5, according to their website. I won't need anything bigger than that, but it would look goofy if I got 31s after a lift.

I got bored at work today....drew my truck with the bumper that I want...

I'll probably wind up doing it myself, since I don't have $800 to cough up for a bumper from RLC. Might have to borrow a welder from somebody *cough*DAVE*cough* since Daddy got rid of his when he got is pacemaker.

So this is where everyone's been hanging out. I see why too. Nice build Nismo, the paint job on the grill looks orders of magnitude better than before. Dave, you are too nice!
