Yeah, they could have thought that out a little better. However, the odds of keeping a movie on track with SO MANY characters is slim. I'm sure it's going to be difficult enough to give enough coverage to each character in the Avengers.

actually, with marvel being the ones overseeing production, it's as simple as they either decided to change it so that blaze isn't in the avengers, or, they will use someone smaller...just like how "Rhodey" changed from terrance howard to don cheadle in the iron man movies....or the fact that they dropped ed norton as the hulk....

You also have to look at Fox owns the rights to the F4 movies, not Marvel. At the time, Marvel Studios was not in the movie production business, so they sold the rights for Fantastic 4, Spiderman, X-Men, and Hulk. The Hulk deal expired, that's why he can be in the Marvel Studios produced Avengers. My understanding is that Fox still owns the X-Men rights, a Silver Surfer movie is in production, and Columbia is releasing a Spiderman Reboot this July. I'm not clear on the F4 and Spiderman rights, but it is very likely that Marvel Studios will have limited interaction with those movies.

Disclaimer: I am an employee of Disney (parent of Marvel Studios) but do not speak for them

Broadcast Engineer for the Dallas radio station (keep this station on the air); my profile pic is at my tower site. One could say it's magical, but not being in Burbank/LA or Orlando kinda limits the benefits.

Ok I watched "This Means War" tonight with my wife on a date night.

I'd have to say that this movie cracked me up. It was really funny in a lot of ways and I had a good time watching it. The action was pretty good when it was there but it was obviously not the center of attention.

If you've got a significant other, definitely go see this one. It's by no means lovey dovey. If you're a single dude or chick and like a good comedy flick with minor undertones of romance it's good too. I would have loved to have seen more action. The person responsible for choreographing it did a wonderful job.

My verdict:

On a date: Definitely see it

Single: See it sometime

This would be a good movie to see in the right now just because there isn't a whole lot more out there worth watching. If you don't get the opportunity to see it in theaters don't miss it as a rental.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil was funny. I watched a bit of it at J Everett's house and the whole thing when I got home.

Watched Tower Heist tonight. It was pretty good actually. We rented it and ordered some frozen pizzas :w00t: great date night.

The movie was entertaining. Not amazing, but a good movie none the less. I'd give it a rent it if there's nothing else that interests you.

When I was in high school, there was a guy I liked a lot. He was a boyscout with my little brother's and a great bud of my dad's. Perfect guy. But while on vacation he was struck by a truck while he was riding his bike down the street. Boondock Saints was his favorite movie. He never got to see the second on. So, my point is - BDS is my favorite movie, and it took forever for me to finally accept that I'd never be able to watch the movie with him. So I watched it on my own, and realized how much I love it. I <3 The Funny Man! =)

I'm naming my son Connor. I'm not saying where I picked up the name....
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm let me take a wild guess...? lol jk

Could go two ways, depending on whether you're thinking Scottish or irish....
Scottish would be the highlander movies....Connor macleod of the clan macleod....and with the macland nick, I'd guess that way...

This is being released the same weekend my son is due to be born. I think it's a fitting movie for such a manly boy haha. In all reality. I'm going to be dying to see this movie and I'll have to be very careful not to put my foot in my mouth about wanting to go see it if....

Ice Age FTW! I LOVE Scrat.

Also. If anyone hasn't seen Drive, I was less than impressed.

We also watched J Edgar 2 nights ago. AMAZING. I had to explain some of the historical references to Karen, but other than that, phenomenal.

The girl and I saw drive a while back, I'm in your boat. I wasn't anticipating an all out action, but cmon it's called Drive! The opening scene was badass, then it seemed to just sit, like stale water on the counter... Yeah, I'd say that's a good depiction of it.
