I'll be watching Cowboys & Aliens tonight or tomorrow night, I'll let you know how it goes.

Ratt, I know we talked about it the other day, but for everyone else, don't bother with Dead Snow. I watched it on Netflix over the summer, and I was so disappointed. I mean, if you like watching crap horror films for the sake of watching crap films (a lot of my friends do this; I just don't understand why) then go for it. But, honestly, I'd rather watch Human Centipede again than watch Dead Snow.

The movie I'm most excited about is The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan has blown every other comic movie out of the water, and after finally seeing Inception this week (twice!) I can't wait to see his Batman opus magnum.

Also really looking forward to The Avengers. I'm a long time Avengers comic fan, and both Iron Man movies and Captain America were awesome!

Haha Dead Snow was alright. A crappy way of trying to be like Sean of the Dead imo.

Human Centipede was alright. Growing up my mom watched Sci Fi horror B movies and intense A rated horror movies... so it's kind of my thing too.

Dark Knight Rises is on the list of must see.

I never saw the complete movie of the first one, I only saw the ending lol. But this and the avengers is purely amazing! ^^

*gasp* You're so movie sheltered!

When I was in high school my parents had a barn that we'd converted into a hangout. We had a huge pool table, an extra long, green, 70's style couch with a mattress laying down in front of it for people to sit between peoples legs. In front of that we had a tv, xbox, and stereo system, and on the opposite wall we had the exact same setup! We'd throw HUGE xbox system link parties and we'd watch movies all year long. The best part was in the winter time we'd have tons of blankets and invite a bunch of girls over :D lots of body warmth. Surprisingly nothing much went down in that barn, well nothing more than some touchy feely making out and minor drinking, no driving ever. I guess we were pretty good kids so that probably helped out. I probably saw 100+ movies in that barn.

Lol weeeelllll, I was suppose to get our bonus room in my upstairs when my brother when to college. I was going to convert it into something like this but on a smaller scale...he decided to live at home instead of the dorm a few weeks later.. grrrr! Im sure this coming fall when I start college things will change haha. I do have a friend who has a giant barn and only 2 horses so he converted it into something like what you said above, even put a rock wall up one of the sides...I have seen a ton of movies just not so many recent ones. My dad goes to china every year and can buy movies for $0.25-$0.50 per movie :) so needless to say we have about 500 bootleg movies!! :)

Men in black was good I don't know I can say that about part 2.. Part 3 has been a disaster to make.. Many rewrites. That generally doesn't mean a good movie.. I will say josh broilin looks and sound like tommy lee jones

Due to rainy weather I didn't get to film my re-enactment of the movie blood diamond so he allowed me to use clips...this will spoil the movie if you haven't seen it so you can't say I didn't warn you :)

Recently I have seen J. Edgar, great movie with incredible acting. I saw The Sitter the other day with Jonah Hill, very funny, but I feel it would have to be to the right crowd. and I actually just finished The Fighter. That was a great movie, very climatic and it was great that it was based on a true story.

I saw it in that manor, minus the balcony. Star Cinema Grill is the only place I'll go for a movie.

The other theater is always full of ill-behaved miscreants, children and adults. J Fern, That would be The Grand here in Conroe.

Guys, don't waste your time and money seeing the David Fincher remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It was nice to look at, and the soundtrack was excellent, but they completely got the two main characters wrong. It's like they never even read the book or saw the original movie at all before they started shooting this one.

Also, this is for RATTFINK. A nicely done summary of the first 10-15 minutes of Up. *Spoilers!* Click only if you don't mind finding out what happens in the very beginning!

My plans were to avoid the remake of The Girl in The Dragon Tattoo. I have seen the original Millenium series with the smoking hot Noomi Rapace.

Thanks bro, I'll click the spoiler. OH NOES!

Ditto! I read all the books and saw all three Swedish films and was qujite impressed by how well the movies followed the books. And yes, Noomi Rapace is f-ing hot!

So glad I'm not the only one who thought Noomi was super hot in The Girl films. She's even hotter in Sherlock Holmes, but that may have something to do with my desire to see women in Victorian corsets. ;)

Went to see Underworld Awakening earlier and paid for a 2d ticket. The crew started the movie in 3d so they brought everybody the glasses. Free 3d movie! And it's still not worth paying extra for. Oh and wait for the dvd on this movie.

So I went and saw "Safe House" with a buddy of mine yesterday.

I was very impressed with this movie. Ryan Reynolds does an excellent job as an action fighter without very much of his snarky attitude. In fact, I can only remember one time he made a snarky comment and I believe the fact that they didn't have to rely on that for his acting to shine through solidifies his place as a true actor.

Denzel Washington does not disappoint either. No one really expects Denzel to let them down in a movie anyways but his performance was equally believable.

The writing in this movie was excellent. If you're looking for a non-stop action movie where you're kept guessing then go see this.

My verdict is see it in the theater if you wanna see an action flick that's non-stop. I'm not going to say see it no matter what because this would be a good one to catch at a matinee or even on dvd after a few months.

honestly, I'm torn on the avengers and captain america

it REALLY chaps my tail that they had the guy that played johnny blaze play captain america, since they're BOTH supposed to be part of the avengers....

Yeah, they could have thought that out a little better. However, the odds of keeping a movie on track with SO MANY characters is slim. I'm sure it's going to be difficult enough to give enough coverage to each character in the Avengers.
