Why is the total chaos IAB better?

The TC one is more streamline, and gives you one less place to snag on. Also it to me looks like a cleaner design. I have had both and haven't had a problem with either of them in all honesty.

I can see that the TC is better than the AC. But when I looked at the Calmini, it looks like it mounts the same as the TC and just extends out a little farther in the corner, and has more metal. I made this paint drawing to show the difference between the two. The dotted red would be where the calmini IAB has metal and the TC doesn't.

I also read somewhere on CX that the TC is tig welded chromolly. I don't know how much of a difference that makes, cause I don't know how the Calmini is made.

He dc xterra love what you have done to your truck. It's the first xterra with the roof rack off and it actually looks good. Did you bed line the outer body or is that paint? Also for the oil filter relocation could there be a chance your tire grabs a rock and throws it at your filter? A Rock traveling at 100 mph could do some damage when you don't know. Anyway keep up the good mods.

What did you use for the bed liner on the body? I was also think of plastic dipping also. Not sure what is stronger. I want the flat non shinny look.

plasti dipping is great for regular cars, i woudnt recommend it on an offroad truck. getting a vinyl wrap is great for desert run cars it protects the pain very well but it costs money. and theres my solution i used a air pressure spray on bed liner, i bought it on Amazon the company is called UPOL and product is Raptor Bedliner it very easy to use the sell them in 1L bottles all you have to do is just add hardener to it and the kit even comes with the shultz gun for application. i sprayed mine at 50 to 60 psi to give it that rugged and texturized look. the higher the psi the less texture you get, and i tell you this stuff it tough like nothing else ive seen i banged on trees rocks the metal just dents in and the paint dsnt chip. the key is to apply light coats 20 to 30 min apart and once it hardens after a few days your golden no more rust no more worries. theres a link in my build page where a took pictures of the job take a look.

Trucks looking good man. Always liked it from the start. Sorry if I missed this but why'd you ditch the bumper? Going with a different style I assume?

Sent through an exorcism and salt flavored shotgun shells.

After you bed lined your truck how is it to clean. Because it is not smooth it would be like trying to clean rough sandpaper. How do you get all the mud and frome out of the little cracks?

Looks awesome and I was quite surprised at how beaten up your rear leaf bushings were. Where did you get the new bushings from? I love that paint on your truck is my favorite of all the trucks on the forum. Good job.
