I just went OEM because I didn't want to relocate the cats. It wasn't that bad to replace at all. All the nuts came off no problem and I pulled all the studs with a torx socket. I recommend pulling the studs because it gave me more room to get the manifold in and they aren't too hard to pull if you have the right tools.

I almost went with that exact set up. The cherry bomb extreme but with single in dual out. But after finding a glass pack (fart can) on CL for $10 I couldn't pass it up.

Post a video up once its on!!

My original plan was to go single in dual out until I saw I had a lot of bad pipe up front thy needed replaced to I jus went all out. The muffler guy told me he'd do everything thing for $100 more so I took it

Heres my new dual exhaust, it turned out awesome. It no longer sounds like a 3.3L V6 I was shocked how big of a difference this setup made.

Its a dual in dual out Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler with 2.5" from the cats back.

This video is kinda lousy on my iPhone its much louder in person. My dad also messed up on the drive by haha but on a normal drive by it sounds pretty mean. Il try and get a better one.

Looks super clean and sounds great! Exhaust has been on my list for a while but keeps getting bumped down. Your post is putting it higher on the list

Total cost was $400. $100 for the muffler and tips then $300 at the garage. I'm very happy with it.

As for wax I use the Black Box and it works awesome. My friend clay bars his and his always looks really good too. His truck is red by the way.

The one shop refused to inspect it because of the lights. I took it to another shop and he didnt say a word about it

Took the X to the dealership yesterday to have a friend who works in the service department check it out and see whats going on with it. Last week it was over heating and smoking and putting out a ton of smoke from the exhaust so I wasnt running it besides getting to the dealership. I figured it was going to be a head gasket and thats what it is. The dealership told me at least over $2K depending on if theres more issues when they would fix it so unfortunately its looking like this might be the end of it for my X. I just cant help but feel like it isnt worth it to put that money into it especially since Ive been fixing something different every other weekend. Its not going to be easy to get rid of it but its looking like thats my only option at this point. I posted a thread in the for sale section about possible parts I might be selling if I end up parting out with the X.

Car payment vs no car payment?

Ill spend a few hundred everyonce in a while vs..
I would price that work out.. Dealers are over prices on work.. It can be done over a weekend but its a lot of work.. And if the heads need re done

I still plan to check around town and see what some other places say. I haven't made a final decision yet. As far as doing it myself im afraid it'll be a little too much for me to handle.
