Just start wrappin' it round and round and round and round and round and round and then tuck it under the last few wraps, and cinch it tight. Then melt the ends:

And tuck that puppy under everything for a nice, clean look.

In other build thread news, I have successfully swapped out my non-SC radiator for a fresh, shiny SC radiator.

I would provide pictures, but we all know what a radiator looks like :)

And in preparation for my rear bumper, I have ordered swing-away tire carrier parts. This is already in addition to my full-size spare tire to match the rest of 'em.

This thing is going to be killer. Headed down to Kentucky in two weeks ;)

Got the rear differential breather done. Gotta love cheap, easy peace-of-mind.

Gave it enough slack to droop with the axle, and the rest is held by zip-ties if I need to give it more.

Welp.

Went down to Kentucky this weekend.

And, at long last, I give you the prototype RLC rear bumper:

With tire carrier.

Now, because we ran out of time, James (being the fantastic dude that he is), is going to finish the remainder of the carrier and ship it to me.

In the meantime, I'm off to the powdercoater.

So, stay posted :)

Both bumpers look awesome! I really, really like the front. Looking forward to seeing the powder coated, finished product.

If I'm grabbing anything, it'll be that bumper.

I want to see the final product. Just based off of the main part, the rest will surely be interesting. Are there going to be recovery points? And how much will it cost?

Sweetness! I didn't know you were getting a rear made too. I hope you enjoyed watching James at work as I did with the front bumper. From the look on his face as he studies the project you can almost see the creative thought process going on in his head.

Did you take the opportunity to eat at KFC on Colonel Sanders Blvd? It was just too funny for me to pass up when I saw it.

You cannot has.

There are recovery points; I should have shown them in one of these pictures. My bad. They're the same type as the front recovery points.

Contact James for pricing :) each one will be different...mine is a tire carrier with a Hi-Lift mount, but I'm going to be adding more things to it. You'll see.

It was definitely awesome to watch him work. Every time I turned around, he had another piece attached. The man is brilliant.

I'm bummed that I missed that KFC...I would have totally gone there!

And just when I was wondering where money would be going next...

For those who don't know, James TIG welds and seriously plug welds the recovery points. Those things are SOLID. That's what the holes are for in the picture without them attached. Those get completely filled with some beautiful welds.
