Xterra died and is not restarting

On my way to work today it suddenly stopped running. It cranks and tries to start but will not stay running. Haven't had the chance to scan for new codes. I suspect the fuel pump. 250,000 miles on the original one. What does everyone else think?

Fuel filter cured its ills! That's what I get for putting the face full of gas off.
