So JayAre and I decided to hit up Wooly's Offroad in Mooresburg, TN today. We've had a lot of rain/precip over the last couple of weeks, but nothing in the last few days. We expected it to be a bit muddy, but the GOOD kind..the kind that gives you a decent grip.

Well...we were wrong. How we escaped without body damage is beyond me, but I'm extremely grateful for it.


If you haven't seen JayAre's rig yet, prepare to be amazed. I started drooling as soon as he pulled in the parking lot.

Once we aired down, it was time to hit the trails. Man, it felt great to get out in the woods and the hills of Southern Tennessee.

Not long after the above photo was taken, we come across this angled 2 foot drop off with a rock on the left side, about halfway up the door. I'm thinking, "Meh, I'll just go far right and avoid smacking my doors on this rock." Boy, was I wrong..

2:07 is where we all thought it was going over..

In theory, we were trying to just bump the front end around and away from the boulder with the winch on the 4 wheeler. In reality, it didn't work, but I did manage to break loose off the rock.

This is JayAre making it look easy (after I figured out which line NOT to take) *LANGUAGE* I still don't know how he didn't slide into that little cedar tree...

We took a moment to reflect and calm our nerves after that last obstacle

After that hair-raising event, we decided to stick to known trails and headed towards the lookout point of the park.

You know what this means..it's time to climb up on the roof and DO THE DANNY! #danamigo

We decide to play in the mud a bit. Anyone who knows me KNOWS that I hate mud. Today, I decided to let my hair down and embrace it.

Sadly, I didn't get a whole lot of pictures this trip because I was focused on getting the video. But, this is the aftermath..

All in all, we had a GREAT day. Took the family/kiddos out and had a BLAST. Next time, it'll be a little warmer and hopefully not near as slick.

that first vid had me fooled, i was thinking that before you got stuck that drop want that bad... then i saw how much your X tipped on the way down.

glad you guys got threw with no damage.

None of us thought it was going to be that bad. If it hadn't been so slick, it would have been a little more controlled and less hairy.

We were all ready for a shot of something strong after that. The wives were scared s#itless, so we had to turn it down a bit.

Sanded? Blaaaa.. Slap some paint or bed liner on and go.. If you use them at all they will get scratched so ;)

Ditto on the sliders. I should have bed lined them today, but I had some stuff to do for my mom today.

I'll try to get that 4x4 drift video up tonight after the Preds game.
