I forgot to mention that I have the SC model so they have those special 5 spoke rims. Hence why I was confused on what the actual rim dimensions were on my last post! :)

The lug spacing is correct, but the hub bore is WAY too small. You could have them milled out to fit, but that means no center caps. Ever.

what are center caps???? i have a vague memory but it has been so long.

but seriously, there have only been a hand full of people over the years that have done it, and they had to do all of the work to make them hub centric themselves.

IE.. lots of work, very little return. unless you own a machine shop that is.

I'm actually thinking of reverting to a 15 or possibly a 16. 17s are too hard to find and more expensive when it comes to off roading. I mainly wanted to keep what tires I have (Cooper STTs) and just change out the rim, but this is turning into a longer process with insufficient funds. :(

Why drop the stock wheels until you need new tires? I am still driving on stock rims, sure I would love to have new rims but I don't have the money for it (college) so I am still rocking stockies.

summit racing has wheels pretty cheap, pro comp steeleies are cheap too. I got my 4 vision warrior 375 as a Christmas gift, they're about 440 total I think.

Yellow, that's not bad. I tried to order some Pro Comps from them directly, but the dude was saying that it'd be horrible on my X and would cause major vibration. Does he know what he's talking about? I see PCs on a lot of people's rigs, if they aren't Cragars.

I bought my 15" Black Rocks for $304.00 Out the door for all 4. From Discount Tire. I know that doesn't solve your 17" dilemma but to give you an idea when you wanna get tires/wheels. They are going to be 15x10 with -38mm BS.

I also brought them an ad from Jegs.com when they were advertising free shipping and Discount matched it all. They were unsure of how the wheel would fit so they gave me a sample wheel to bring home and test fit before I paid them to order the wheels I really wanted. Not bad for $300 bucks and I'm assured they fit!

Yeah they should be in by the end of the month. Then I'll be putting some 33x12.50's Falken Wildpeaks on them.

Xado, that's awesome. I'm looking into buying 15s after these coopers wear out. Definitely a huge price difference from 17s

Yeah stick to the idea of 15" wheels. I went to a 18" xd rockstar and while I love the wheels I hate the tire prices the toyo open country mt I have is $1400 for a set of new tires. so I will sooner or later be swapping to 15" steel wheels of some sort.

I got my pro comp 7032 from summit racing for like $116 a wheel w/ free shipping. they didn't have all of them in stock and air dropped 3 directly from pro comp. as for the vibration, I have no issues out of mine.

summit will also price match. 4wheelonline had them at cheaper list price but summit beat that price

Danny at xterraperfromance.com can get pro comps im pretty sure

that's the first I've heard of the vibration issue. Ive had mine on for about 6 months now. I drove my truck back and forth to Nashville, 3 hrs each way, for 8 weeks with no problems. Theres another member on here running the same wheels (chixterra) and as far as I no he hasn't had any issues. Several of the 2nd gens run pro comps too with no complains. was it a local dealer that told you that or a chain store?

It was some dude at Big O Tires. He actually called a Pro Comp Rep over the phone to order and then relayed the issue for their steelers. Although disappointed, I've came to a realization to keep mine.
