Vibration when letting off the gas

When letting off the gas at approximately 40mph I get a vibration. Almost like running on the rumble strips on the highway. The last time I noticed this I was overdue for an oil change. Once it was changed I didn't notice it anymore. Im guessing now that was just a coincidence because now Im not due for a change and im getting the vibration again.
Anyone else ever experience this?

that's probably a bad sign....being overdue for an oil change has never made my vehicle shudder like it was on a rumble strip....in any vehicle I've ever had....

It wont be due to an oil change being over due that would be a coincidence for sure it has to do with some thing in your suspension/steering or a tire being unbalanced

Thirded. Driveshaft u-joints. Did the same thing to me in my dodge 3500. When you're on the gas pedal and applying torque to the whole drivetrain, it might hold a lightly worn U-joint still, but let off and allow everything to spin freely, and it loosens enough to vibrate. Get under the truck and see if you can feel any play when you move the shaft by hand.

Ha...ok...tomorrow I will slide under the truck and give the drive shaft a jiggle! :) yes I know what it is. I guess I shouldn't say I "cant " work on. I just figure with 3 men in the house they can do it. The only time I work on it is when I want something done and get tired of waiting.
Ill let ya know what I come up with.
