VAXC Beach Day - June 21, 2014

Not 100% sure if this made it's way over here but there is a beach day planned in June.

This was pretty loosely planned, we were trying to re-create X-Fest back from the old skool VAXC days.

It kind of died off because people were moving, on family vacations, and having babies.

But is anyone still interested?

Well the guy who really was setting this up is being moved across the country, so I am not 100% sure where he is with all this now. I think he is still on board and all. Guess I should reach out to him.

I saw it was losing interest so I wanted to bring it here. Honestly, it might get canceled (which would suck) but things happen. Maybe 2014 just wasn't the year to kick this back into gear, who knows?

I'm all about doing a NC beach run. It's only about an hour and a half for me to get down there. And I do try and go once a year. But just that weekend I'll be gone.

No joke, I can't make it either. But the event was planned and I didn't want to rain over people's plans.

I forgot I wasn't the only one bailing on you guys for the West Coast. I should however make it to this, although I HATE the beach. That's what the beer is for though, just gotta get me a DD.

Yeah, Scott is too. Thankfully he is leaving the site up on his servers. I just need to find another person to work with me to manage it.

But I wont be there, unfortunately. I will be in NY, on Staten Island.

Based on what was going on over at bookface, I need to set up a X-Fest: Reborn at some point. This was supposed to be the beginning of that, but we need to find a better place. Chaos Offroad opened that park right on the border near Winchester.

I dunno if I can make a trip all the way out to Winchester. I can do the beach and ECXC I think. I have a bunch of non-Xterra trips that I have to do (I know, I know).
