Unkown grumbling

OK I have a grumble when making right turns.
I naturally thought it's a wheel bearing but after jacking it up and checking it out I don't think that's it (and I understand it still could be that).
Before I go and replace them is there anything else anyone (TJ) can think of before I do?
Hate spending money on something I don't need too.

Brakes are notorious for grumbling if they're badly worn.

I have new (about 6 months) pads.
How can they cause grumble? What going on to make that happen?

I'm not entirely sure. But I know when my rotors were badly worn, the pads would grumble against them.

New bearings in,problem solved.

I'd say it was your bearings.
