I still want a KLR.... and the ORPP bike just made that feeling intensify.
Trade you for the X...;)

Haha! That's good stuff.

Good looking bike man. So did you just chop the handle bars?

thanks man. No, The stock handle bars got bent when my buddy dropped the bike. I bought The super moto Universal bars and put them on. They have a little less sweep but since i have pretty long arms the fit just fine.

haha if it were that easy... First time you would try to drive the x you would be like "WTF!"... and my hands would be superglued to the steering wheel

on another note... what kind of paint is that (brand/color)

Its the rustoleum camo paint. flat tan. I sanded the plastics down, sprayed some primer/bonding agent, three coats of the flat tan, then 2 coats of flat clear. I did the front fender a while ago and its been holding up really well. THe best part is that if it gets scratched or something i just get out the old tan can and spray it again.

wonder how that would look on the x... but just where the original paint was

by the way, I can't wait until you sell this bike to me! :D

This is a great lookin' bike, I really dig the flat tan/black combo. The angles on the front fender look like some crazy stealth fighter/bird beak. At least that's the first thing that popped into my head...

Been a While since i updated this...I have been riding her hard and putting her away wet for a while and she needed some serious Maint!
I got her all back together last weekend. I ended up repainting all the plastics, Chopped the rear fender, made a new license plate bracket, Replaced front and rear pads with galfer pads, replaced front and rear tires with Michelin T63s, replaced front and rear sprockets, installed new ATV High rise protaper handle bars, wired up heated grips, rewired Rigid dually lights....and cleaned stuff....
Hope to take her out to the desert rendezvous.
I took her out for a shakedown run this last weekend and it was beautiful. Bike ran great! Guess Ill keep her around for a bit more!
