Crew cab I assume? Can't imagine your X as a daily family hauler.
Yeah. Full size. Crew Cab.

I daily the X now. I think in an ideal world I have a comfortable daily and relegate the X to toy status, but I'm out of garage as it is.

We'd be selling the Pathy and replacing it.

Looking Titan, Tundra, F-Series.

I think closer to true would be an EMP gets detonated, we all have to survive with no money or electrics. Full tilt survival of the fittest.

Ooo, I like that. Espically happening today. Good luck finding a pre odb carberated car to get around too.

had a crew digging down the street of one of our transmitters and they CUT THE FRIGGIN PHONE CABLE. All telco services are down because they couldn't be arsed to figure out where the cables were run.

Diesel or gas?

I think I've seen carb conversions to run on pure ethonal.
Gas. I have wondered about those. Ideally, a pre obd diesel would be best. I have a buddy with a realllllllly old Benz he was converting to run on cooking oil. Something like that would be bad ass.

They have done studies the body of your vehicle would act as a faraday cage so your computer would not get fried but finding a good battery would be the problem.

like it would really matter in an emergency but ive heard that cooking oil as fuel also cuts the life of the engine in half. its an extremely dirty burn.

I will! I read the synopsis and sounds interesting.

I have the print copy but haven't read it. I read the original pdf version that was posted on a survival forum a decade ago. I need to reread it but I've got a couple other books in line first.
