I like you.Hello motherufckers! I got a simple question and it's easier and quicker to ask it here since you all love this place I need to Jack up my 1th gen x to out it in stands for bodywork and changing the shocks. Where do I lift it, where is the safest place for stands?
Picture for attention
I like you.
Jack it at the lower control arm mounts. Place jackstands along the frame rails at the front.
Lift rear by Differential. If you're changing the rear shocks you'll again want to put stands on the frame so the axle can droop.
I have the 1st gen FSM laying around here somewhere.Yo @Prime
What's the chances you know or have the schematics for the tail light harness for 1st gen xterra/frontiers.
I have no idea how to pull these taillights so I have the plug off the body
I know black is ground lol figured I'd ask before diving into the google View attachment 10799
Sylvania SilverStar Ultra.best headlight bulbs for the stock headlight housing. not able to do a HID retrofit ( no time before winter shows up). and the Philips Xtreme vision bulbs suck the big one.
also I understand that LED fog lights don't creat enough heat to melt snow but are there any other dowsides of using LED lights as a fog light
Well ordered those light bulbs. Hope they are better then the ones I picked up earlier this summer. Also picked up some LED fog lights with the amber signal in the centre similar to joe my reverse light podsSylvania SilverStar Ultra.
And other than the heat issue, no.

How are you going to mount those?Liteway Customized 3.5" Pair 48W CREE LED Light Bar Turn Signal Amber Pods Light Round Flood Beam Driving Lamp Working Light Waterproof IP68 Fog Lights for Jeep Offroad Truck Car ATV SUV Marine Boat,1 Year Warranty
Yeah. It'd require a custom 7-pin setup to get all the lights working correctly.Took one of the tail lights out screws were behind the bedliner.
Brown/red- running lights
blue/red- tail lights
green/red- right turn signal
green/yellow- left turn singnal
yellow/red- reverse lights
black- ground.
But now I ran into the issue of trailers are wired for 4 pin (running, left, right, and ground)
I need it to basically be a 5 pin since the turns and stops are individual on the 1st gens (running,, stop, left, right, and ground)
planning on replacing the PIAA lights in the bumper. they should mount the exact same way as the PIAAHow are you going to mount those?
Scratch that. Don't touch the stock trailer wiring. Add a custom 5 pin for the frontrailer. Ground, stop, reverse, left, right. You could also do a dual 4 pin. Leave the stock 4 pin for brake lights and ground. Add a second 4 pin for reverse lights and turn signals.
Word. Didn't know that your bumper used stud mount fogs.planning on replacing the PIAA lights in the bumper. they should mount the exact same way as the PIAA
