that’s what I was saying. Was thinking about upgrading since the vendor on my old one is getting old as well as I’m a bit bigger than I was back 10 years ago. But damn that price
190 for a belt that lasts ten years doesn't seem that out of whack to me. Quality >quantity

The one I got was given to me as part of a course. ( paid for by the military). It’s just starting to wear out. Now I am on the hook for the new one. But your right, if I can get another 10 years out of it it’s not so bad

Went by the local meat shop and got some Ribeye and Sirloin steaks to grill today. Got some sugar snap peas and rolls to go with it. Completely forgot potatoes to bake. Wife's gonna head out to get those in a bit. I'll probably get a start on replacing the thermostat in the X in a few. Ground is still soaked form yesterday and last night's rains. Hate crawling around on wet ground. I need a SHOP. Oh well...
I can be there by 8pm , either steak will do ; med rare work's good . Ill bring some crab egg's and I'm not worried about a tater ;) LOL ...Did you ever think of just pouring yourself a Lg concrete slab to do some work on ? then maybe down the road throw up a garage. I think I'd rather throw down a hunk of carpet/cardboard down on concrete verse's some soggy a$$ dirt . You could even put the line's in for radiant heat when you pour the concrete for use down the road or put a tiny shed next to it with the water heater and a circulatory pump in it and stand/ lay on a warm slab outside in winter while working on your friend's X :) YEA, I given this thought. You can't even work on vehicle's on the street in my county and the yard is only twice as big as the house :( and that ain't the 1/2 of it !!

So if you get 10 year's it only cost you $19 a year; Somebody's inflatable co-pilot probably cost more per year for air tight patch's and weekly sanitization and let's not forget the quarter's it cost to keep her up and running !!

There will be a spare ribeye probably.

I have a paved spot in front of my garage but the garage isn't big enough to get the X through the door.

The pavement is ok but doesn't hold up under jacks and stands.

Next place will have a BIG shop.

Well got a call for help a couple hours ago

A buddy of mines’s wife tried to go ice fishing with a trailer hooked up to her dodge 1500. These are the pics I get with her asking for help

So after a bit of digging, dropping the new Chev in 4lo we got the dodge and the trailer back on track

Your a good friend to do that, I'm guessing she didn't go walk out there first. You know , before she drove off the snow road and over the snow curb ??? Or is it thawing that quick. I'm curious they got a wood burning stove , pellet's or fuel ?

She didn’t bother to go look. Temp was +1 this am and early after lunch. It’s also been quite mild the last few days.

for the wood stove they have a 20 lb propane tank that was converted to a wood burning stove just enough to heat up the trailer.

I've had several different gun belts with the training biz. Galco, Booze, etc but 5.11 is my favorite due to price, price, comfort, price and ease of getting on and off. I get zero bend or droop carrying a near 2lb sp101 and flashlight. No baton or cuffs, mace, etc but... The price... Check 'em out. 20200125_172114.jpg

Thanks for the recommendation. I am looking for something with the Austrian alpine cobra buckle. And the 5.11 tactical ones mostly have different buckles. But I will take a look. I’ve had lots of success with 5.11 stuff as well

I wasn't a fan of their most common D-ring with hook/loop type buckles but they grew on me. Like, before I left the store. They let me load one down and shop about 15min and I was sold.

It also helps that we have a 5.11 store here locally and I know the manager from when I worked Cabela's gun library out of TX.
