Thinking ultimate TBI mods, L98/LT1 cam, headers and 3.23s. Then subframe braces, wonder bar, tubular LCAs and drive the crap out of it with the A/C on and cruise set...

I've got two that run, two that COULD run, and two that'll never run again...

That sounds identical to my volkswagen collection. hahaha

If i could find a clean non mulleted version of that era Camaro, Id daily one of those for sure. I have always been a huge fan.

That's too many Camaro's

T-Tops ftw.

I built one from three, that's where some of it came from.

I'm hit or miss on the tees. They leak and weaken the body. That's what the subframe braces will be for.

This is a 101k mile garage queen I traded a nice 88 C1500 for. It's super clean and I hate I've lost it sit but it's got 4 seats and I've got 5 butts so it didn't make sense to drive much.

My Mustang has T-Tops. So I know. It also has subframe connectors. I remember when I got those welded in. Completely changed the driving dynamics of the car.

i HAVE NO CLUE WHY MY ANSWER ENDED UP IN THE BLUE BOX ??

It just didn't work that way for us. Never had a baby sitter until recently when the wife started back to school. And trips were either family events in the summer when the kids were out of school or winter time get aways for the wife and I and I NEVER drive these cars in the winter.

Also, no tubs. I'm not a fan of the pro-street thing.

But with the girls getting older, it's time to start on a cruiser and drag this thing out of the building.

You said that 2 were running. You drive one, the wife drives the other. And the kids can ride in both.

My brother had one he built had a 355 he was running Corvette heads and some other vet parts. He used it mostly for driving around but once in awhile he would take it to the track. When he traded for another vehicle he was only getting 4mpg at that point he said he could not afford to drive it because he had to run premium gas. It started as a automatic transmission then he put a 5 speed in it but eventually put it back to an automatic because he could not get it to run at low enough rpms.

Sounds like he had too much cam.
