That reminds me I have a CV axle on the shelf with a torn boot. I need to get a new boot then figure out switching and greasing.

Between that and Jeremy Renner getting maimed by a snowcat, tis not a good season for celebrities and snow equipment.

Also, found a $40 1080p TV for my parents to use as a computer monitor. Insurance declared thier entire electronics setup in the office a total loss. Mitigation company is supposed to start ripping out the walls this week.

They should have been done with that by now. But the state says they have to wait for an asbestos test. Despite the fact that everything in the basement is brand ufcking new. On top of that, the house was built in 96. If there's asbestos in this house, somebody needs to go to ufcking jail. ufcking bureaucracy.

Also ordered parts for thier new computer. Nothing fancy. Core i5, nvme, on board video. Probably should have just bought an Intel NUC. That's all they really need.

But as someone who knows Vegas very well, this was a ton of fun. Disjointed AF, but gobbledamn was that man a legend.
Yeah, I actually met him out of person once, he was at a off road race, the dude spent his own money to get started in rallying when he was at an age most drivers retired, because, hey, this looks like fun. Dude loved motorsports and all things with wheels.

He will be missed, be interesting to see if his daughter keeps going with the whole motorsports thing or not

Eat something?
I grabbed a 3 day old piece of pizza then rounded up the chains and stuff to go drag that stupid Honda to my house. Went good.

One kid standing on the brakes, one kid directing, wife steering and me pushing the car down the hill. Coasted right on the trailer and hit pretty well in the sweet spot. Good enough to tow 3 miles at 35mph.

Kids were good about helping with chains and stayed clear when I set the dogs.

All in all, a successful recovery.
