In 11 years working (and 9 3/4 living) here I have seen several flags/patches, being the three I listed the more common.
The largest group I have seen on those vehicles was like four years ago, all flying Canadian flags.
Sometimes crazy shiat happens here like one Osprey coming from the southeast (there was a bombing range there), dropping a crew, and then circling around like guarding them, then another Osprey comes from the northwest (maybe from the 29 Palms USMC base), drop a different crew, getting the first crew, and leaving. Sometimes the crews are not from the US, as per the patches they have.
I did not see it myself, but there is a picture in the restaurant here of a tank (an M60 I believe) loading diesel in the fuel pump.
For real, I see some crazy shiat here.

Just booked four nights in late July at the Ouray, Colorado KOA. Taking the X to do the Alpine Loop, specifically Imogene and Engineer passes. Maybe more if the wife doesn’t squeal. If anyone wants to meet up, lemme know. I’m going to run it by some of my old wheeling buddies in California, too, in case they want to come out.

Never done Alpine Loop. Looks awesome from the youtube videos. We will be in Ouray KOA 7/23 to 7/27. It’s a Tuesday through Saturday. Figure wheel Wednesday and Thursday, and then see stuff and drink in Ouray on Friday. Gotta head home Saturday. I’ll do some shakeout runs in Michigan a few weeks before heading west.

if all things line up, and my life straightens itself out, the san juans are only 200ish away and my absolute favorite place :D
