Taurus Fan!

Okay, so I have the fan...I have a two speed relay to make the fan work....now my only problem is getting the fan to kick on at the right temperatures. There is an Audi sensor but it is 190 for low and 205 for high...but those temps seem high. So any other bright ideas?

Maybe find a sensor for that same model of Audi, but the diesel version of the model. It should cause the fan to come on significantly longer, as most diesels have a normal operating temp of 180 F +/- 10 F

190 is fine that's when mine kick on.. maybe just a touch after

Mine runs at 200 after it's been on for a while. 190 sounds fine.

Hrmm...interesting. Now, where to tap in a bigass sensor switch.

This is the beast I'm looking at it has 22mmx1.5mm threads. So its HUGE. and needs to have direct access to the coolant. It has a grounding pin, so it doesn't need to be grounded to the engine like a normal temp sensor.

There's a rigid pipe between the thermostat and the lower radiator hose. Take it to a shop and have them weld a bung onto it.
