So I'm considering picking up a set and I've seen a few posts on here about them and alot of varying info online. Whats been everyone's experience with them?

Mine has been pretty good.. They dont fit exactly.. On my Gen one.. But they work and are very functional

Is there a bunch of extra material bunched up in the middle or can you get it pretty smooth. Cause some of the pics I've seen either they don't fit good or people just did a crappy job putting them on cause it looks like a huge lump in the middle with leftover material.

By middle I meant upper back/shoulder area in the middle of the seat. Pics would be awesome so I could actually see em on an X instead of jeep seats.

I snagged one of your seat (truck, not your pants) while I was over there........but it's on my old phone's SD card. I'll see if I can find it in my truck..

Gen 1 has gotta be closer then Jeep. I'm going through your build now and jeebus that thing went together fast.

Gen 2 seats are wider, I've noticed. I drove my brother-in-laws Shrocked 08 OR for about two weeks last summer when my Pathy wouldn't start and they are definitely wider than the 1st Gen seats.

See this is why I love you guys, I'm stuck doing internet shopping and can't check things out for myself but you guys are all over this.

Wider may result in a better fit, though. Dave is the only one I know of that has them, much less on an X.

I know your thing says Ft Campbell, but when you come home, where do you stay? You know we're not but maybe an hour drive from Ft C..

I stay on post and yeah I know you guys are close. I tried a couple times to meet up and go wheeling with you guys but pre-deployment training keep getting in the way. Plus in all honesty CX wasn't as inviting as XN is. I don't know if its just the way the site was or if it was just the whole Army brain thing where you watch people and judge them before you open up.

You sound like you're gonna need a good mod day when you get home. Dave's trying to put one together this spring...when will you be back?

I'll stop hijacking the thread momentarily.

I'm going to be back sometime between May-July. it depends on if my early discharge to attend college is approved or not. Not really worried about the thread jack either.
