Has anyone wired dedicated switches for the roof lights &/or bumper lights? The factory set up is okay,but I would prefer to use them when I want to regardless of weather or not the headlights are on low or high beams. I understand why the factory has them set the way they do but that’s so the general dumb ass population don’t blind oncoming traffic, a smart decision on their part. Had anyone done this?

Thanks, I’ll look into that mod. I was just thinking hacking into the wires at the lights & running an add on aftermarket switch somewhere. Not a big deal… I’m still okay with the factory set up, just wanted to see what the deal was. Nothing on the roof lights? Maybe I’ll get bored one of these nights & figure something out

If I recall, the roofs are run through the bcm, so you need a holdup circuit or something to keep them on separately, if you dont run wires to completely bypass it. I had looked into doing mine at one point but decided it wasnt worth the effort for the amount that I use them
