Well its been a while but i have been noticing the fill plug on the rear differential is always wet... its leaking oil very small amounts though... Im just wondering if this is common or should I have put some sort of sealant on the threads?

Yea the manual tranny and differential plugs on Nissans are usually NPT threads so they need sealant on them
