plasti dip is sprayable plastic coating that covers an area. downfall i have is it faded a little bit, but i get a lot of sun here. other than that its held up pretty good, out in the sand, mud hills. i get mine at lowes or home depot type of places. ya can use it on basically anything. be sure when you spray it let it dry completely so you get everything fully covered and has a good thickness on it and its easier to peel off. and yes it literally does peel right off. i just took a whole door off in one piece. also easy to clean.

Ok you say it peels right off...will it stand through a car wash? And how long will it last? Also is it affordable and how much is required to do a whole x as an example? And what about prep work to use it?

Dipyourcar.com is the best answer for all your questions.

Watch the videos for an hour or so, you'll be amazed. I'd start with the myths of plastidip on their YouTube channel.

I believe DJQuin said he used roughly 5 gallons to do his whole truck. I priced that at their website along with the DIY car kit. Around 500 bucks or so. Not bad for a completely new looking Xterra.
