Is there anyway to bypass whatever blocks the ability to enter destinations and such while driving? It's really annoying having to stop to allow a co-pilot enter something while going down the road.

Good luck with this, Not to many people on here have the brand new X's that came with navigation. But you never know if someone already did this.

Yea hopefully the Xterra shares with a more popular model, I have not seen any pictures of the nav head unit to be sure

the nissan/infiniti navis require spoofing the system into thinking the car is not moving. Do you also have a dvd player you are trying to make play while the vehicle in motion or is it just the Nav?

As the navigavtion has GPS tracking you have to fool the GPS sensor instead of strictly the parking brake as in the olden days.

I just got my new Pro 4x and the Nav issue is really annoying, we ended up using an iPhone to Nav. Does anyone know if there is there a voice recognition that can be used while driving, when it won't let you type?

My cousin runs a body shop and I know he found a way to disable that feature on his Tundra as well as re-connect the rear view camera on a switch so he can view his tow anytime without being in reverse. He said there are plug and play devices out there that correct this for about $350, but he found someone on a tundra forum that makes them for $60. Maybe he can do them for Xterras? or maybe its a good start for those of you looking to correct it.

Now if anyone is ready to trade up or get rid of their setup, please let me know...haha.
