So it's a new show on discovery about a mechanic and a survival guide that take a some what stock jeep out into the bush and wheel. From what I've seen it has maybe a small lift some BFG KM2's possibly 31's in size and a winch with a synthetic cable. Interesting show to say the least. So what do think about the show think they had any help on the trails or nothing is staged?

Like I said on ClubX interesting concept but a horrific failure in execution. If I had to wheel with that idiot I would leave him stranded. Dude is a whiny pansy and a disgrace to offroaders.

To be honest my grand mother would know how to wheel better then him. But every time they got stuck it looked like he hit the brakes right as it got hard. And then when they used the winch to get free they said the synthetic rope was so dangerous that it could snap back and kill some one, I laughed so hard lol.

Yeah and the fact that someone is going to believe him is frightening. Id like to know how to email Discovery to voice my opinion I mean the idea is awesome. Drop a truck off in the wild full of fuel and 2 guys with a compass and say get out on your own. Even the survivalist guy s a descent enough dude its just that there "extreme driving enthusiast" is an idiot mall crawler that "wheels" a Hmmv H1....... I mean seriously.......

And that the fact all they added to it was wheels(probably best thing for them though) and a winch means they aren't trying to hard to make this show and so much for tread lightly too all the cutting down spinning tires and creek crossing I would have thought discovery would try a little harder at this then they have. So I don't see this show lasting long at all from the one show that I've seen. But like you said good concept for a show just not well thought of could be better.

Just a painful, awful show. The driving "expert" is a chode. And for sure some of this crap was staged. Funny in the rainforest how they didn't have any footage of survivor guy actually catching fish....

...but the capper is in the second episode when driver d-bag horse-whips the jeep down the rock field, bucking and spinning, and claims the shaft was somehow "defective" when he sheared it just outside of the diff...

This was just like Man vs. Wild, but with an idiot, a jeep, and a smaller production budget.

Also, the survivor guy should have let Bobby Lee freeze in the jeep on the glacier after Bobby Lee wouldn't help with the ice shelter.

Brutal. Might have to turn it into a drinking game. "take a drink every time Bobby Lee D-bag does or says something we know is wrong"

Finally, I think I just heard Treadlightly dry-heaving...

Well hopefully they put more thought into the show and make it more entertaining and legit then it is now or I don't see it lasting another 3-4 shows. Unless the majority of the viewing audience has never seen, driven, or been in the out doors wheeling or even a on a dirt road. But time will tell and we'll see what they do with it.

I agree with everyone above.

I think that they should change the show with the main idea of having random people across the globe who have very capable off road vehicles giving it a try. Take that person and their vehicle and have them do this. Instead of the entire show and the commercials all being one big infomercial for jeep. There are more than just jeeps that off road. Why not have a show that reflects the adventures of all sorts of vehicles and their owners and their skills?! Just my opinion.

Not so sure the second episode (volcano) where Bobby Lee breaks the axle is much of an advert for jeep...

Offroad stupidity aside, i think this show will fail because it's just plain unwatchable. The survivor dude is OK, but is clueless about offroading. "Left! Left! keep going!" I keep yelling at the tv - "My left or your left you Donkey?!?!? you mean DRIVER?!?!?" But at least he has some personality and a valid survivor resume. They need to replace Bobby Lee D-Bag with someone who actually knows off-roading.

Exactly!

And the whole different car each week with different people would be a good show it would bring a ton of diversity and show people how its really done. Not this lame excuse of off roading/surviving.

This show gives off roading a bad name... Maybe if they had a real driver and the military dude was less douchey

I could sure use a steak right now..... lmao. That show is a joke, and what I can't quite understand is that Jeep endorses it. It seems every episode the jeep has some sort of break down, and for that I am glad I don't own one.

I guess we are somewhat special interest in that we would like more focus on the technical aspects of the situations facing the heep. Still, the characters suck especially bobby lee, and that makes it unwatchable for me

Its a show based on entertainment not a documentary. About as big of a joke as the Topgear USA.

This is what the show should of been like in my opinion.

I like this show... but some of what these guys do is kind of goofy... They seem to know (Bookwise) what to do..
When that dude threw a chain he just didnt worry about it... and kept on driving.. then they about ran out of fuel? Seems like they should have turned around...

Still Id love to do what they are doing :)

Alright well, I somewhat liked the show but like stated above, it would be nice if they were everyday contestants that took different vehicles to see if their rig could make it.
