New here and wanted to introduce myself. I have a 2005 Xterra SE. Bought it a year ago and just started modifying.
Been wheeling other vehicles for a while used to own a Geo tracker. Loved that thing. Drove it till it pretty much fell apart.
I had always wanted an Xterra since I first saw them back in 2001, but it just took me a long time to be able to get one. Now that I have one, I am smitten!
So far I have:
Suspension:
OME with Heavies
2" Adjustable Shackles
Bilstien 6253 3-4" Shocks
Tires:
BF Goodrich TA KO 265/75/16
Armor:
Addicted Offroad front tube bumper Need to have cross member welded on so that I can install it.
Shrockworks Sliders painted and as soon as I can get out the bolts I broke from the frame Tuesday will install them.
Shrockworks Skids painted and will install Tuesday
Other mods:
Removed the burger and painted it black and red.
Midland 75-822 CB with added antenna
Changed out tensioner pully
Did Radiator bypass after started getting a rumble ::fingers crossed:: That I prolonged the death of the tranny.
Changed oil over to fully synthetic and upgraded to K&N Filter
New Alternator and going to rebuild old one myself as a spare.
Added RockyMntX recovery points to stock bumper
10# Power tank
Added Strong Arm 6137 Lift Gate Supports
New front Wheel bearing and brakes
Alignment
Changed dome lights to LED
Wants:
OME Leaf pack
Diff armor
Roof basket that can hold spare
Want to build rear storage shelf
Hi-Lift Extreme
SuperWinch
So far this all has been a lot of fun. I am doing the build myself with only a bit of help and supervision. Really want to know my vehicle and learn as much as I can about it and how to repair it.

Stock and then after lift.

Recovery points added

Trunk actually stays open now! Thankfully no more bumps and bruises from that heavy ass door hitting me in the head.

Painted Burger

On the Mountain top.
So happy with the X for now. Will post more pics when I get the rest of the armor on.
