Hello

I have been stalking this site for a while now since I didn’t know if I was going to get an Xterra or an FJ, but Saturday I picked up a 2012 Xterra Pro-X.
It is an awesome vehicle although it takes a little bit to get used to since I am coming from a Murano which had all the luxury features I could want. The Xterra gives you more of a truck feel and it sits higher up so I have to start using the step bars otherwise I my face will be meeting the pavement shortly.
I am looking forward to getting into the off-road hobby and meeting fellow Xterra owners.

I do have one problem already that I couldn’t find an answer to, my stock radio will cut out over a period of time and there will be no sound. I am using AUX, but switched to radio and it still had no sound. After about a minute it comes back on, and then turns off again sometime later. I was driving for about 45 minutes when it started happening, and I do listen to my music very loudly so my initial thought was the factory amp was overheating. However, we drove it back from the dealership which took over an hour with just the radio on but it wasn’t playing loudly and we had no issues.
Ideas?

Welcome into XN!

I haven't heard if any radio issues on the Xterra so this could be a random issue.. If you can not get the dealer to replace it I know we have them pop up for sale fairly cheap..
I would recommend videoing the issue is it pops up again and then showing the dealer...

Welcome into the nation
