Is my centerlink toast?

Ok I put in my bandit bushings last weekend but when I went to bolt the centerlink to the idler arm all the bolt does is spin... What can I do to get it tight? Not enough sticks out for vice grips and it doesnt go on enough for the cotter pin..Is my centerlink toast?

I took everything off and the centerlink is toast... the bolt that goes from the centerlink to the idler arm is just worn out

The ball joints stud in the centerlink? Sounds like its shot, that will definitely give you lots of play in the steering. Surprised yours lasted this long, you wheel way more than me.

I replaced mine on my 01 with the CL from Richard and it was POS. I wished I had gone with Calmini steering kit and was going to purchase that kit but I ended up selling the X so that never happened.

I went through 2 of them in a short period of time and I don't even wheel that hard. That is why I went with the Calmini kit.

Luke, you can post up a WTB thread wanting a used but good condition Calmini kit and see what others offer you that they don't want since they are going SAS. I posted a WTB on XOC and got 4 replies via PMs.

Yep I still have it... But I just replaced it yesterday with a moog... Im hoping it will get me by for a while, Hoping to buy a house this spring then after that I can buy a calmini kit
