My fog light on my '00 has been out for a few months now and I'm really starting to get aggravated because I can't find the right bulb. I need one with the plug in that looks like a headphone jack and not a flat head. Can anyone point me in a better direction than Courtseyparts & Evilbay??? I really don't want to spend more than a couple of dollars.

Thanks.

just cut off the female bullet in the fog light and crimp on a female spade. That's what I did. Or get a cheap blazer bulb at advance auto (in the fog light section).. its the standard H3 but includes a short piece of high temp wire that goes from a male bullet to a female spade.

Doodle - neither. The actual part that plugs in needs to be round not flat. Both of those are flat.

rjr162 - They told me to get the H4 which is the flat.... idk if that's the female bullet or spade. You said both. lol I guess I need the bullet one but I'm too whimpy to start cutting wires for lights. I just want the bulb with the correct fitting.

Both of mine have been out since Januaury. Is there a better alternative to the H3? Its not the best bulb choice in the world.

There are 100 watt H3's on Amazon.

You don't want them... even with 55w it started to melt the clear lens pretty bad on ours.. turned it a fog/smoke white.

The bulbs I'm talking about at advance have an adaptor wire in the pack that converts from the story k round bullet connector to the flat blade connector of the standard after market bulb.

Here the link to where I had them up for free:

Yeah, I figured the 100 watts would be too hot, but it's really the only answer to FauxFox's question.

Those little adapters would be easy enough to make yourself.
