horrible leaf spring squeeks

I have a fairly new xterra, less than 12k miles. I did a shackle lift 4- 5 months ago. Over the last couple weeks i have developed a horrible squeek from both leaf springs. I have verified everything is tight, lubed with dry graphite (cured for 1 week) and problem is back.

I am curious ifanyone else has experienced similar with Nissan OEM leaves? I will be taking to dealer next week.

I have not had this issue yet, But i have ready many threads about it. It seems like the best solution is just pressure wash the crap out of them. Depending on the mud/dirt/sand in your area it seems like some people have more issues then others.

I appreciate the feedback. Last week i unloaded the suspension and used my air compressor to blow them out. Earlier tonight i unloaded suspension, cleaned with simple green and sprayed with my garden hose, i will update with results,

I am definitely more vulnerable as i am in FL: fine dirt and sand. Dealer is last resort, i need to find a new one (dealer), i have been less than impressed with my local dwaler that i purchased from.

Is it the anti-friction pads between the leaves, or is it the bushings on the shackles? Do the shackles have rubber or poly bushings?

Ploy bushings tend to make a lot of noise unless you keep them swimming in white lithium grease on our race cars.

I forgot to update this thread. The source of my noise is the clamps which sandwich my springs on the outer ends of the leaves, clamps are a bit bent. I have to relube every couple weeks. Grease lasts longer, but of course attracts more shtuff...

I had this prob bro its a loud metal squeak right? Jack the ***** up. Remove the front leaf pack bolt where it mounts into the anchors on the chassis. Take a vise grip and peel out the ears slightly. Check your bushings as well might be time for new ones. A couple my buddies here in Brooklyn runnin baja bushings, might wana look into it. I got mine direct from nissan mad cheap. Also check out www.generalspring.com we got leaf packs cheap and stronger than stock. We currently lookin at welding a triangle piece to those anchor "ears" to try and prevent them from bending as easy.
