Just saw these on AC's web site. Does any one have these on there rig? Just wondering if this would be a good idea not sure how it would effect steering angle and CV angles. And for the price its not bad really just wanted some thoughts on these.

Spacers do allow for more lift so that you can get more up-travel. But the downside is that your cv angle will get even worse static (when you're just sitting there). The limits of your shocks will keep the suspension in the normal range, but cv's tend to take the major hit, giving out more frequently.

And then there's your steering. Is it also drooped more static. It will wear out faster too.

One thing that you can do to help resolve the cv issue is to lower your front diff. I dropped my diff an inch to get a bit more lift and it worked beautifully. But the steering is still an issue unless you have a beefed up steering system.

I personally wouldn't do it to a 4WD Xterra. The 2WD guys can do it, but they still have the steering issue as well. But the cv issues are gone.

I took the front crossmember that the diff mounts to and remounted it about 1.5" lower. I redrilled the mounting holes to bolt it back in lower and welded it together in a way that, if I had to take it off in the future, I could just grind the welds off and remove the crossmember. Worked great.

AC also sells a Diff Drop. I bought one but have not installed it yet. A few do have it installed but I don't know what's the difference between it and what Cycle has/created.
