Hi all! I just found this site and am very excited to see so many mods on Xterra's. I don't generally see any in my area.
A little background - I bought Nismo (couldn't come up with anything more clever) about four years ago after my Jeep Grand Cherokee was totaled in an accident. I owned one other Jeep before that and it was Cherokee with a 5.5 lift and 35's. Both Jeep's required too much of my money so when I got the check for the Grand I decided to buy an X. I found her right after someone traded it in and for a 2001 she only had 60k miles. For the price I was able to buy a few extras. I bought a 3" inch bodly lift and 32's with new rims. It got lifted right after I bought it.

First and only wheeling trip:
Last year we also turned the up the torsion bars which added almost another inch of lift. I got the tail pipe modified so it didn't hang down. I also have 12" inch subwoofers with a JNL amp and Alpine deck that plays MP3's. I also had the hubby put Bilstein shocks on, since he works at 4 Wheel Parts and the original shocks were still on it. I also removed the hideous side steps, but now I need sliders as I'm 5'3 and need a little help getting in lol.
I truly wish we could do more to it and that is my goal for this summer. I'm getting married on 5/31/14 so my funds are tied up at the moment. I entually want to solid axle it and put a suspension lift on and get rid of the body lift. For now she's a pavement princess until I get it paid off.
