Yea RLC is great. Took only a couple weeks or so from once I bought it to get to me. I have a winch in mine and it fits perfectly. I would definitely purchase one from him.

The gen2 looks really beefy, I would be a bit concerned it would get in the way while approaching an obstacle.
Has anyone had success in moutning a winch and not having to replace the bumper? I came across one thread before about a mount, but was hesistant on dropping $500 when a whole bumper is only a few hundred more.

The 2nd gen bumper wouldn't work for 09+ since we have the larger grill so it would be rendered useless unless he redesigns the front end to accommodate the newer grille style.

I know that Shrock doesn't require it if you don't plan on a winch though but I would be more than happy to switch it out for older style though.

RLC. I use a Smittybilt XRC8 with the upgraded synthetic rope in mine. I don't get to wheel much, but I did pull a fella's van out of the ditch with the winch and the bumper stayed attached to my X...:smile:
