Okay guys,

I've been bored at work. I was cruising Ebay and found This. One, I didn't know fabtech had lifts for us? Two, would that work with a 4x4? Opinions?

I've seen those on ebay for a while and always wondered the same thing. i have also seen a few X's on the web with fab tech UCAs I believe. If I had to guess I would say they would work.

I mean, they are similar price. Slightly cheaper. Says they offer a 3.5" lift as opposed to the standard 3".

I could crank my calmini up to get 4" of lift... Issues are the cv's will bind, they barely have enough movement for 3"

That's what I figured. I've personally just never seen anyone running fabtech arms, other than my buddy's 2500HD which had no comparison, lol. Want sure if they would even be considered as an option in the future. I think when I do get arms I'll go with ac or calmini just because they are easier to find gobble forbid something happens.

I'm guessing this is just a front end lift?

Yep.

Interesting that they only list it for 2WD though. Just by looking at the arms, there is no reason I can see that you couldn't use them on a 4WD. The UCA has no bearing on the CV shaft coming to the hub.

And yeah, on a 2WD truck, you can lift higher because you don't have to worry about the CV joints.

Maybe that's why it's listed as 3.5.. Since it's for 2WD you can lift it a little higher giving you that full 3.5, otherwise just 3. Maybe? haha ;)
