Evaporator Canister, fuel system and Gas Tank

So as you all know doing the SAS on the truck, tank is removed and it will be located up behind the rear seat(outside) so in the end its elevation will be higher than the evap canister. Stock setup has the canister higher than the tank making the tank fumes go to the evap can to drop out. Question I have, does the evap unit have to be higher than the tank top? I would assume it has to be for the fuel vapours to go upward.

What tank will you be using and how high is the tank going to be? If you look inside the stock xterra tank, I can get pictures tomorrow it has a very intricate fume set-up. I didn't look at it really closely but I imagine that the evap should be higher and everything plumbed accordingly.

I was only going to move the tank and yes the evap/fuel system very intricate. I might go to the local Nissan and see what they say.
