E break light.

So recently after i put on my ebrake i've had issues with the light randomly coming on and off. Anyone else have issues with this and if so what were they and what did you do to fix it. Yes, i've reset it about a trillion times.

Low Brake fluid is a possibility....

or a sticky switch, but I would check the fluid level.

With a low level check the front pads for wear.

Most of the time if with the front pad wear, you'd hear metal to metal contact when braking or something like that.

no i just did the pads within the last year when i bought the truck. and i didn't even think to check the fluid for some reason but i'll do that right now.

Check the tightness of the brake as well. If its too loose it won't go back to its assumed position, so the light will flicker as it moves around.

that sir, was my guess just haven't had time to get to checking it.

If you wait untill you hear metal on metal contact, you waited too long. It should only take a couple of minutes to check for pad wear. And I'd rather spend a few minutes checking and or replacing pads, than replacing rotors if they get scored.
