is the rotor supposed to move that much??

I know I'm a pain in the ass but just to clarify, the movement and noise is the rotor on the wheel studs. Not the hub moving.

When you torque the lug nuts it would remove the movement in the rotor. Were all of the lug nuts torqued down?

Yes. I've had the wheels off so many times recently that I've been checking them every few days.

Just back from dealer. Noise is gone! It was something I never thought to check. Anyone wanna guess? Hint: think alignment.

F/R LCA bolt wasn't torqued to spec.

They fixed it under warranty, so it was super easy. Lol. Would they be loosened during an alignment? They're stock, not camber bolts.
