I'm interested, it's just a time isue right now. RowdyDowdy (from Clubfrontier.org) in Wichita Falls has been wanting to get some folks together to go also.

I definitely know about the time issue haha. If we do this I'd like it to be in the fall anyways just for the weather. There's no reason to punish ourselves with this heat. It just wouldn't be any fun. It looks like there is a nice awning for a cook out and shade.

I'm wondering if there is a map of this place somewhere. It may be worth finding someone from one of those forums that has been if there's no map or marked trails.

I have been there and posted it on the member map for you guys... made me feel like a noob out there (lots of crazy trails), but I did make a FJ cruiser guy feel like he wasted his money (he just bought it). But yea it was fun... only broke a revolver shackle. :D

Oh yea and scared the crap out of my kids

you can do a few trails with a stock X.. but just don't rely on the map they give you. I almost ended up going end over end on their "staircase" lvl 3 or 4 trail. All I can say is that if you don't have a spotter and you can't see past your hood just make sure you get out and double check. There are MANY drop offs (cliffs), steep hillsides, and off camber trails. It is a decent OHV park, just be careful. This info is from my experience there in 2010.

SO - I want to open this discussion back up - and get date planned for a fall Trip - Maybe Late Sept or Early Oct. I just sold and house and am in the process of buying a new one so my next month or so is going to be crazy with work traveling and packing.

I'm familiar enough with the park to be the tour guide and make it challenging and Safe (you can never be 100% sure of either - right) LOL but I've been going to this one for the past few years and only recently (last year) did any mods other than tires...

Who's in and what dates can you try to do?

I'm blocked 100% Oct 18-27th (I'm going to Cabo with the Wife and NO Kids)

For me right now saving money for back and forth trips to Lawton monthly is an issue. I would still like to go sometime but it's becoming increasingly harder to get leeway on doing stuff like this. Hopefully a few other people will chime in and something can be put together. I've finagled my way into harder situations though...

If i'm availible I will travel there. But with going to NXM and just received a project for work that I'm suppost to work on during my off time. I can not predict anytime I will be availible.

Alright my N Texan (this includes out OK neighbors) friends I was granted Sunday as my day to hang with friends and play. So I've put together a small group to head to Bridgeport this coming Sunday (planning to be at the gate by 10:00am) probably done before 3 and we can BYOB to Rock City burgers afterwards for lunch. Everyone is welcome to come if you can make it.

If you can make it give me a shout out and we will keep an eye out for you.

Sounds great. I'm available with advance notice as we'll. I had a blast playing with my friends in their Jeeps. Only the 2013 Rubicon kept up with me .
