Awesome pictures, Nice build. I can't wait to see further pictures and mods. Looks like you put a lot of time and effort into your X making sure every mod is done right.

Great Build! In fact, we clearly share similar tastes. We both have blue Xterras, both on a second X after a 2wd, both have same rear bumper, I also plan to have the RMX front winch mount. *GASP* Are you my twin?! Were we separated at birth?!

LOL, awesome rig, Brett. Glad to have you in the Nation!

LOL, I bet you also had fun finding 4wd in LA, in 2009 an OR was non-existent in AR (mine came from Blue Springs, MO). Make sure to get get 608 coils with your OME lift, you'll need it with the RMX winch mount. I had 607's, which were fine until I added the winch/mount - I swapped the coils myself. In the rear I still have the medium duty leafs which seem fine - I do have the extra leaf if it ever starts sagging back there.

Awesome build and rig sir. Frankie is a very handsome little man

Thank you, Frankie is a very special little guy to us, he's ridden many thousand miles in both X's, seen a lot of the western US. He's just gotten too old - poor fellow. I figure he's that dog that we all have one of during our lifetime, the one we judge all of our other dogs by.

I actually walked into my local dealer, told them what I wanted, color and all, and waited 6 weeks for them to find it. They had to give me the leather for free because I really wanted the cloth interior with the fold flat front seat like I had in my '08. I'm happy with the leather, but I wasn't gonna pay $1000 for it.

Thanks for the tip on the OME coils!

I had pictures in my build thread of my old co-pilot Frankie (dachshund) but I had to remove them - hurts. After nearly 16 faithful years, Frankie passed away late last fall - hopefully he's terrorizing all the squirrels he wants to in doggie heaven. There's a new co-pilot in training, this time I opted for the newer, larger model - his name is Lukas. He'll be 1 y/o on tuesday, and he'll make his first long trip out west in a couple of weeks.

Love your build thread man! Lukas is a very handsome gentleman, I bet my Jojo would flirt hard with him.

Lukas would love to flirt with Jojo, he's got a little sister named Lucy that he just loves to death. Lucy whips his arse on a daily basis, but he keeps coming back for more. Until Lukas got over about 20 pounds, Lucy would drag him around by those big ears - he's simply too heavy now, so Lucy just pulls on them with her 11 pounds of might. This little video is of the two of them, last November right after we got Lukas. The activity is mostly the same now, except Lukas is over three times that size now at 27 pounds :)

That's way too flippin cute dude lol. Jojo gets a little weird about big dogs, but she LOVES dogs that are her size or smaller. Luckily with Megatron, we got him at 8 weeks so she has gotten used to him and how big he is now (and still growing). He's pretty submisive, which is good because Jojo kicks his arse on the daily too. Her flirting is hilarious though; she'll stiffen up her front legs and penguin waddle to the boy dog and flop over. She's such a goof.

I added pictures on my build thread if you wanted to take a look
