nice rig, any details on how you did the wheel well lights? (are they protected so they can't be torn up by rocks being thrown up by the tires?

Here's a few pics. to show how/where they are mounted. Nothing really to protect them, they are just stuck onto the fender liner using the 3M tape that was provided with the LED strips. Hopefully they hold up well!

got a link for your source? I totally need a set of those to put on mine...or at least on the edges of the skid to light up down low whilst wheeling.

that's right, you can't call marines jarheads anymore....(I'll stop there, I have a TON of fun anti-marine jokes that're in good nature from the army standpoint, but, those really are best saved for service member to service member, and public consumption could end up with someone being offended)

how long's that strip btw? I may have to get a pair of extras and put them by the rad skid or in the bumper mouth, something like that....

I haven't been able to find them online yet. They are made by Alpena, and they are the MAX LED stirps. Alpena also makes a FLEX LED strip which is pretty much the same thing but not as bright.
Ohhh sorry jarhea.. , whoops, Marine! :)
HAha. It's all good!

Yeah, it's all good guys!
Hi Blain.
Bye Blain.

:)

Auto Zone has them, though not as bright.
Correct. The MAX are the brighter ones, the FLEX aren't. I saw both at Auto Zone, and the MAX are the ones I used in the wheel wells.

They are 12' strips.
