I picked up a 2004 Gen 1 last March because I needed a vehicle that would get me to the fishing, camping and cabin. I have totally fallen in love with it and intend to slowly make some basic modifications to it. Looking for others in NC with common interests. I'm in Raleigh close to Knightdale.

ENCXC has kind of died down a bit. All of the OG's have pretty much grown up, gotten married, and domesticated themselves. I find when you involve the family, you have a lot more success in being able to enjoy your activities while inviting them to expand what they like. My wife now really enjoys wheeling, whereas before, she could not care less.

That is the longest acrornyn of life, lol. I am assuming Eastern North Carolina Xterre Club?

It was just a thought though, you all have a ton of guys in NC.
(not stepping on SE Xterra toes, I promise, just ideas).

I've been trying to get something going here, but there is not enough activity from the folks in this area to make it happen. I'll reach out to SEXterra and see if we can create a "Chapter" here, but I'd only really want to get it going if we can make it a non-profit so we can participate in charity events, etc.

Who are you again? ;)

I'm going to reach out to SEXterra about running a chapter here in NC. I've seen some feedback about how SEXterra is really just TNXterra, so if we can broaden, or create chapters, the group, we will see more participation from other states.

Yes ENCXC is still alive but barley. NOAS Is much more active in this area. Most of us NC guys know each other and are so busy its last minuet when we can wheel so we just get a small group and go lol.
