Aiming headlights!

When I first got my X the headlights were aimed too high so I took it to the dealership to have them readjust them for me (this is before I realized that I was capable of fixing cars )

They "fixed" them for me. But now they are aimed too low.

I have since learned that I can do most of the things I want to on my own, so I tried to readjust them back up a little, but they will not move. What should I do to aim them up more? Turning the adjustment screw doesn't change anything????

How much you pay for the dealership to adjust them?

I don't remember, maybe $25. It was a few years ago. It really never bothered me when I lived in town, but I recently moved out to the country and I can only see like 30 feet in front of me. My brights are where my regular headlights should be aimed .

Kinda obvious, but you'll need a rather long screwdriver to adjust them. I think something on the order of 12" long as the vertical adjustment hole is under the light. I actually crawled under the truck to ensure I made it to the screw head.

I have an 02 and the headlights are not the same as your 01. The adjustment screw is on top.

The problem is when I turn it, nothing happens, like it is stripped.
