We love our truck! Daily driver bought in 04 with 90k on it. Been great in the sand at Hatteras (stock) on vacation every year. Access ain't what it used to be (Thanks Autobann) Looking at new timing belt ect at 210,000 and wondering? Any other high milage truck owners? Go for 250,000?

Thanks for quick reply! Sat in a 2nd gen at the Carmax a while ago and really missed the sunroof. Bigger size also an issue. It's Blue Denim so the paint is starting to come off the fenders but I can live with that. Some rust on passenger side rocker panel seam. We'll see… not looking forward to any loan payments!

second gens really isn't much bigger. it's less than an inch longer. it's just a few inches wider and that's it really

Not yet 200,000 but I'm at around 198,000 or so right now. Running strong as ever. Had my timing belt changed around 188,000. Also had my transmission replaced with a brand new one when I first bought it. Has a lot of life left in her.

2001 with 237k on her. Transmission needs some loving, as does the steering, but she still kicks around

2004 with 178000. Replaced timing belt, water pump, thermostat, fuel pump at 116.

I'm at 199,000 right now! Other than some wear and tear here and there, cosmetically it's in great condition and when I bought it (180,000) I had a new transmission put in so I'm good for another what, 170,000 miles? HELL YEA XD

Tranny last forever as long as there is fluid. I'm still on original but added a tranny cooler a while back.

204,700 something. Shout out to CaseyCamby for the very helpful guide to replacing power window workings. My son who was using his mad stereo install skills was doubting if he could take it on this evening but after seeing the pics- window is functional! Only replaced the motor.
