Well it's that time of the year again. This year is the 11th year of doing the Wharton State Forest Clean-up. Info is below.
When: October 28th 2012 @ 9am
Where: Meet at the Atsion Ranger Station (Ranger Station Google Map
We do suggest that you arrive at the ranger station at least 30-60 minutes prior to the start time of 9am. This is allow you time to get your vehicle situated and say hello to friends, or make some new friends to go out in a group with. Please bring gloves, trash bags, something to drink and even a snack or packed lunch. There will be sign up sheet passed around and also a map of where and what you will be cleaning up.
This is the largest one-day volunteer event at Wharton State Forest in New Jersey. Raffle tickets will be sold to help defray the cost of free wings and to support the Toys for Tots. The raffle will be held at Pic-a-lilly Restaurant on Rt 206 where you will also be able to get some wings and drinks.
All in all it is a great day to get out of the house and spend some time on the trails while helping clean up the local wilderness. Bring some friends and family and have a great day! We hope to see you there.

I, SnickerDoodle aka Dani, will be attending again this year and plan on being at the Ranger station at about 8-830. If anyone else is planning on going let me know and we can meet up!
