So with a but of research I have deturmaned that I have a 4.6 final with a trans with the following ratios
    1st 3.580
    2nd 2.077
    3rd 1.360
    4th 1.000
    5th 0.811

Acording to the cummins crate engine gear calculator to have a happy gear ratio for the dielse I would need a 2.73 final which is what was installed in the d44 from a Cherokee and will be perfect for 31 to 33 inch tires

The guy I got them from said that his daughter had trouble getting in and out of the truck. I took the hilift to it this morning and it did perfectly.

So I took my hi lift apart yesterday for a rebuild and repaint, turns out that the spine is slightly bent. I can cut off the bent part and use it as a 36 inch lift but I'm leaning towards ordering a new 60 inch spine. For $40 I can have a new spine here straight from hilift.

Well it's winter now and we are getting ready for our annual snowshoeing trip and we are taking the x this year. I will be swapping all the fluids next week. I am going to order some more water tight pass through plugs and a intanna mount for a 2m radio and get that all in when the weather is a little nicer.

Finally got my whip on and the cb under the dash. And yes that is a tennis ball to keep the whip from smacking in to the paint work.

Ya I have always wanted to do a body mount like this. And yes I should get some XN decals I also have a hilift decal to go on once I clean it up a bit (lots of road grime from the snow). I already have a few other decals on the back.

Found a home for the compressor. Still need to plumb and wire it and get the tank in but it is bolted to the fender and might move up if I decide to do a and deleat (dosnt work anyway).

Very nice, only concern with putting the compressor there is the heat off the manifolds. Im sure you will be fine however

The rear floods are in and man are they bright. They are controlled by a 3 way switch under the radio giving me on-off-auto

Nice. It's as though the back of the X was made for that mod.

No kidding. I bought them back when I had my 4runner but never got around to it. I was going to put them in the metal part of the bumper but I would have to move them when I get around to the swingout.

20180407_191748.jpg So 3 days ago I tried to lower the tire out from under my truck only to find that it was stuck completely solid. I ended up taking it in to my friends shop and had him cut the chain and then I ratchet strapped the tire in to my new roof basket install I can build a tire carrier. I will also be installing my air tank under he truck.

So I found what was wrong with my clutch. Can you spot what is wrong with this? So far the hardest part was disconnecting the exhaust. I busted the crank shaft position sensor and found that the flex pipe is busted.

Got quick silver back on the road mostly back together. The suspension was adjusted to take out the rake and I'm about 30 miles in to the break in on the clutch and letting the suspension settle before I do a alignment. I left the trim off around the shifter so that I can run some wiring for the speaker that will be hooked up to the 2meter eventually.
