squirrels are back.. 05 and 14 damaged main harness too cold out, getting drunk. cheers
It just depends how you approach it, if you get trail baloney and venison sticks made I found that was the best way to introduce people to venison. Another this is to have it ground up and have beef fat mixed in will help mask the tast then use it in dishes. The last deer I got I had brats, kielbasas made then ground most of the rest of it keeping the back strap and some steaks for myself. If she will eat bison then you should be able to get her to eat deer. If all else fails if they get hungry enough they will eat anything.I agree. Grew up with my grandfather hunting and fishing. But since the wife has that attitude if it’s not beef, pork or chicken she won’t eat it. I’ve got her liking bison if it’s in a burger. I don’t really want to go hunting for deer and be the only one eating it. Seems like a waist to me right now.
Deer brats and beer are awesome. It just depends how you approach it, if you get trail baloney and venison sticks made I found that was the best way to introduce people to venison. Tried that once. One of the doctors I worked with brought venison sausages mixed with pork and some moose sausages mixed with beef. They tasted amazing. She didn’t even take a bite.It just depends how you approach it, if you get trail baloney and venison sticks made I found that was the best way to introduce people to venison. I'll eat anything if it's cooked properly and tastes good. Since we shop at Costco a lot we put a 18 Cf stainless front Whirlpool fridge in the basement last year. It replaced a bigger one and since it sit's near the bar it's great for beer, soda, water, liquor and of course all the Costco overflow. She hasn't even said anything about the Graveyard Graphic's decal I put on it .It's coming in really handy right now for everything...........Looking at getting a spare mini fridge.....we have a use for it but when we dont need it itll likely be a beer fridge in my shop.....idk for sure if ill get it

That's some serious dedication
If you do decide to remove the stock roof rack. Beware of the nutserts. They are a pain in the Jim if they start spinning. When I removed my roof rack I had 3 that spun. And needed to drop the headliner to fix itWhen I bought this X I noticed rub mark's on main rail's up top and one of the first time that Odo X got a bath I noticed these crack's . I've alway's tried to get extra wax in these to stop the water from getting in and turning to rust but there's 4 place's I can't [ where the feet hold the rail in the middle and rear ] I'm thinking maybe this is the time to remove them and throw some paint in the crack's , after I make the crack's a little bigger and cleaner. I'm guessing these were made from the previous owner over tightening/sentching down strap's ? Kayak's I would guess , but who know's !!
Yep. That's seam sealer where the body sides are welded to the roof. Mine is cracking much worse than yours. It's something I need to grind out and re-do. You can get the seam sealer at NAPA. Most of them service local body shops so they keep it in stock. It comes in a tube like caulk if I remember right. It's been years since we used it to seal the floors of my buddy's crawler when we replaced the cab.Has anyone else had these crack's show up in the channel's on their roof ??View attachment 13510 View attachment 13511
I had 4 left before I hit a spinner, by-passed it and got the last 3 out. I was about half way to dropping the headliner on the driver side when I said Ufck it and put everything headliner related back where it belonged . Then I took a razor knife and operated, just where I had too. I cut about a 5 inch hole and vice-gripped it's a$$ and the surgery was a success the piece that came out of the hole fit's back perfectly, you'd never know it was cut out. Since there not calling for rain tonite I'm leaving the nutsert hole's open to dry overnight . Between 1/3-1/2 of the top of the nutsert's were damp and rusty, I'm really debating to just keep the rail's off and seal the hole's back like I did for the wind dam and drawer .I guess I'll figure it out tomorrow...........If you do decide to remove the stock roof rack. Or you could beeline the roof after you fix the cracks and attach it all back up.I had 4 left before I hit a spinner, by-passed it and got the last 3 out.
