I havent decided where i fall on restricting handgun licenses to people with med weed cards.
Mostly Im against it. Could be a gateway to restricting my gun rights later for some other scrip. Oklahoma does it that way. Med weed card = no LTC.

Thru working with the batfe for years with Cabela's in TX and CO I learned that the background check aka the "Brady Check" searches NICS and federal and state databases.
The MED, Marijuana Enforcement Division, only uses CBI, Colorado Bureau of Investigation, which is only state. So, if you have your medical maryjane card and try to get a LTC you'll be rejected but do it the other way around and you can have both.
