I thought the same thing for years but having outages that run for two or three weeks and being stuck in here 16hr a day for most of it, I finally just gave in to our bean overlords. Now I don't like to drink coffee after 9am because I'll have the jitters by the evening, but I'll drink 4-6 cups (by the coffee pot) most mornings while I meander around the house or till I get out of the shop at work.

I get up, make a pot of coffee, pour one cup for the wife and the rest goes in my fifty fifty bottle (same deal as hydro flask). Then if all or most of it’s gone by lunch (most days) I’ll move on to an iced coffee for the afternoon.
